Gus attended Florida State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and a minor in Political Science.

Gus then attended Florida State University School of Law where he obtained a Juris Doctorate degree. He is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and Texas Bar. Since its inception, Gustavo A. Fernandez, P.A., has conducted over one thousand residential real estate closings. Mr. Fernandez is also a Real Estate Broker, a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, South Miami Bar Association, Doral Chamber of Commerce and regularly handles pro bono cases for the Put Something Back Program.
